Hi guys!

As most of you know, October is Service Month.

Sadly, our Agannis Arena Clean Up was canceled-but don't fear! It has been postponed to November. :)
I know you guys want to clean that arena up, so please sign up again when the time comes.

Our next event is on Friday, October 19th-Krispy Kreme Sales.
There's about 25 of you who have signed up and we need you to be at STUDENT VILLAGE AT 5:30 AM!!!!!!!! DO NOT BE LATE.

A week from that on Saturday the 27th is our highly anticipated BU vs BC Olympics!
It will be held at the FitRec in the afternoon (1-4) so bring your A game for basketball, volleyball, eating contests and more! (Also, if you know of BC kids who want to come, email the names so they can be added to the list. BU students don't need to worry)

And on the 29th, which is a Monday, we will be having our KSA Scary Movie Night! Updates on time and place coming soon :)

One final note- Each class's reps are putting on events that will occur every month. Please come out to them and join their facebook groups!!

We've been having really great turnouts for our events. So thanks for coming to everything guys!

Our First General Meeting was packed with people. I hope you guys all enjoyed it and learned a lot about what KSA wants to do this year!

Food Festival on 9.21.07 was also a success! The Pojangmacha theme was carried out in the Sargent Gym with plenty of food... although we did run out near the end. But we'll take that as an indicator that we had a huge amount of people :)

We also had elections this past Sunday and we're proud to announce the new additions to eboard!

Welcome either back or to BU!
To all the freshmen out there, I hope you guys got a chance to meet us at Splash!
We had a crazy time and I'm hoping you all saw how amazing KSA is gonna be this year!

We do have a lot of events planned for this month, our first being our very first General Meeting!
It'll be ...
Tuesday, September 11th at the Sargent Gym (One University Road-between the BU Bridge and GSU)
It starts at 7:30pm so be on time!

Later events are..

Food Festival: Friday, 9/21 - 7:00pm-9:00pm Sargent Gym
-the theme is "POJANGMACHA" or... "포장마차" which for you Non Koreans, refers to a outside tent restaurant, which serves simple Korean dishes. There will also be games and activities so make sure to come!

Elections: Sunday, 9/23 - Time TBA Student Village
-We have the following positions open: Social Chair, 1 Senior Rep, 2 Junior Reps, and 2 Freshmen Rep. If you're interested in joining this fabulous eboard, join the elections!

First General Meeting of 2007

Happy new years everyone and welcome back. It's finally winter! (snow is here, yay)

Our first meeting of 2007 is an important one containing information for the upcoming culture show in April and our dance event on Feb. 10 (with details that you must come out to find out!)

This year us eboard members are working extra hard and preparing early to make the culture show our best one yet. The process is a lot of work but also rewarding and fun at the same time. We have many acts planned and some great ideas have been exchanged. We really encourage you guys to make it out to the General meeting this coming monday and share your ideas of what could be done and have you participate on this rewarding experience of teaching the Boston community about the Korean heritage and the Korean-American experience.

Well, see you at the meeting!

The volleyball tournament with Brown, N.Eastern, and BC was a success. Everyone had fun and congratulations to BC for winning the tournament! They were awarded with hugs and kisses from the Eboard as well as free tickets to the Boston University KSA Club event at Axis on Nov. 17.

Black & White theme party at Axis, NOV. 17 Friday. Be on the guest list and get in for $10!
